Highlights From The Lady Blooming Hangout, Photos & Shout-Outs!

Hey guys,

Remember The Lady Blooming? Yeah. Some of you already saw this on my social media, but just in case you didn’t – well, over the weekend, we finally, finally met for our very first hangout. Phew! I say finally, because we, scratch that, I particularly stalled on holding the hangout for such a long time, and we still might have not held it had Orejesu Ajayi & Omolara Oseni, not reminded and pushed me. Thankfully, it’s done now and I can breathe again.

The hangout:

The idea had been to do something really casual and relaxing and so, we had a picnic. It was a closed hangout, but each girl was given the opportunity to invite at least one person around her, who she thought needed a breathe of fresh air.

We also had a journaling session somewhere here and a Q&A on etiquettes, but pictures didn’t cover those, so.

Next: dance competition.

pS: {Most of them claim they can’t dance to save their lives, but the bounty here was a journal!}

And then we had dessert! 😀

Now of everything we did, this next one had to be my favorite – particularly because of the way each girl reacted to it. We called it ‘a word for each girl.’

A word for each girl.

And finally, pictures, more pictures and souveneirs.

Shout-outs!

We had fun and we learnt and we had fun, but the hangout would not have been what it is, if not for certain people. This is me saying a big ‘thank-you’ to Orejesu’s parents, my mum, Emmanuel Eneje, Adebola Akran, Ope, Bolu and Fiyin Olagunju, Lara Oseni, Orejesu Ajayi, Momore Ajayi and Eniola Olabode. Thank you so much for all your contributions, support and sacrifices. 😘

I’m also shouting out to everyone who came for the hangout. Some of you came from really long distances and despite all, especially when the sun came scorching, you guys stayed till the end. 😘😘😘 Thank you.

Till later, guys.

With 💕 and plenty kisses,

Tirzah.
